Akasha powers aren’t tied to any particular Archetype. Any character may purchase any lesser power regardless of Archetype, although some powers might be more usable to certain Archetypes than they are for others. Warriors, for example, might find the combat powers more useful than Mages would. After characters start making a name for themselves, they can purchase up to three more (for a total of four) Akasha powers using renown.

Combat Powers

Ambush: When you make your Speed test at the start of each combat to determine when you act, you add +3 to the roll. The maximum modifier of +7 still applies.

Riposte: Whenever someone hits you with a physical attack, you can make an immediate counterattack.

Smite: When you hit an opponent with a physical attack, you can spend up to three Akasha to add one wound per Akasha of elemental damage (Heat, Cold, Shock, Acid, Poison, Sonic, Psychic, Force, Radiant, or Necrotic) to the attack.

Stunning Attack: When you hit an opponent with a physical attack, you can spend three Akasha to stun the target until your next turn. Stunned targets cannot move or attack.

Sorcery Powers

Brew Potions: You can brew magical potions that provide an instant healing effect, instant damaging effect (Poison), or a transformation effect that lasts for one hour to the person who drinks it.

Dispel Magic: You can remove magical effects from places and things by passing a Spellcasting test. With a weak success, the effect is removed for ten minutes. With a strong success, the effect is removed permanently.

Rune Carving: The character can spend one Akasha to inscribe a magical rune on people or objects, imbuing them with magical power. When the rune is touched and the command word is spoken, the power of the spell is released.

Sorcery: The character can cast magical spells.

Stealth Powers

Gambler’s Luck: You can spend one Akasha to reroll any test and take the most favorable result.

Poisoned Blades: You deal an additional wound of Poison damage with every successful weapon attack.

Shadow Step: You can spend one Akasha to magically teleport from one area of shadow or darkness to another within far distance.

Vanish: You can spend Akasha to turn yourself invisible and completely silent for one turn per Akasha. While vanished, you can move without being detected. However, if you take any other action besides moving, the condition ends. If you end the vanished condition by making a physical attack, you cause three wounds with a weak success, and you cause five wounds with a strong success.

Divine Powers

Bless: You can spend one Akasha to help yourself or one of your allies succeed by giving your blessing, which confers a +3 bonus to all tests for one minute as well as healing 1d4 wounds. The normal limit of +7 still applies.

Divine Blast: You can spend one Akasha to damage all undead and demons in a near circle around you. With a weak success on a Sorcery challenge, you cause three wounds to all demons and undead creatures near you. With a strong success, you cause five wounds to all demons and undead creatures near you.

Divine Magic: You can sacrifice Prana to ask the gods for help.

Summoning: For one Akasha, you can summon and control one Rank of Servants for up to 24 hours. So, by spending five Akasha, you could summon five rank 1 Servants, or 1 rank 5 Servant, (or any other combination totaling 5). With a weak success on a Persuasion challenge, the Servants serve unwillingly and will attempt to subvert your authority every chance they get. Once per hour, you must make a WIL test to see if they remain under your control. If you fail one of these challenges, or if you fall unconscious, they will immediately attack you. With a strong success on your Persuasion challenge, they serve willingly and will not attack you.
